Bounce Back Team Descriptions
Community Placement: New for 2011! This team supports the arrival and campsite placement of our Bounce attendees. These greeters and hosts will work with our Community Placement Lead to provide information regarding open campsites and luggage valet day and night.
Check In: Team members will work with the Bounce Operations Associate Directors to register our on-site Bounce guests including Cabin Residents, RV placement, Bounce Crew, etc.
Green Team: Our green team works to keep the Bounce beautiful and sustainable, while striving to look for innovative ways to green our event. Team members will be scheduled to work during and in some cases after the event with our Environment and Sustainability Director to ensure that we exceed the standard Leave No Trace expectations of Plumas County and the National Forestry Service. The Green Team will implement and maintain the Bounce recycling and waste systems. Volunteers will also be advocates for greening the event while encouraging the Bounce participants to "Pack it Out!" The Bounce goes beyond the practices of Leave No Trace by actively practicing the 6 R's: Respect, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recycle, Restore! Ideas WELCOME!
Information Booth: Our oracles of information will be savvy in all ways of The Bounce and be ready to share that information with the Bounce attendees. Oracles will work directly with our Bounce Operations Associate Director to provide information and event wisdom to our Bounce attendees. To be accepted as part of the information booth team, you must have a fun attitude and will need previous Volunteer experience with The Bounce and/or other festivals, or be familiar with Beldentown and the local Plumas County area,.
Parking and Transportation: Our parking and transportation volunteers will be key to easement in the arrival and departure of our Bounce community. Team members will work with our Parking Management to ensure safe and secure placement of all vehicles in all parking locations at the Bounce.
Ticketing: Tickets will be sold in our general parking area. Ticketing volunteers will work with our Bounce Associate Directors to assist Bounce attendees with pass purchase and wristband distribution. Previous cash handling and/or similar experience preferred. References may be required.
Event Breakdown: Working with our production, operation, and green teams, the event breakdown volunteers will work with us to leave our venue in excellent condition, better than when we arrived. Breakdown volunteers will need to be available on Monday June 20th through Tuesday June 21st.
